Founded in 1867, the Grange is the nation’s oldest farm organization and supports community, agriculture, and education. The Hood River Grange is bringing these ideals into the 21st century by being relevant to today’s families and today’s issues. We are especially concerned with promoting a sustainable community and local economy, and we believe local farmers and food producers are critical to that goal. Dues are tax deductible for the Rockford Grange as we are part of the Oregon State Grange which is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
Membership to the Rockford Grange is on a rolling 12 month period. Renewals will occur on the anniversary of your enrollment.
Donations to our building fund are also accepted to ensure we continue to have a safe meeting and event space to support our local community. The Rockford Grange is classified as a non-profit organization so donations are not tax-deductible unless strictly earmarked for our Education & Charitable Activities Fund. Much of our fundraising proceeds go to building and property improvements and maintenance, and is thus not tax-deductible under the IRS Code. Nevertheless, donations are very much appreciated and a functioning Grange building benefits the entire community.

By joining the Grange as a Member you agree to our mission and agree to the following:
"I desire to unite with others in elevating and advancing the interest of the American family and community life, receiving in turn the benefits and advantages of those who belong to the Grange. I promise a faithful compliance with the By-laws of this Grange and the Constitution and By-laws of the Oregon State and National Granges. I have not previously applied for membership in this or any other Grange during the past six months. Our lobbyist expresses our views at the State Legislature; however, as an organization, we do not support candidates for office or side with political parties."
Dues are collected on a rolling 12 month period and membership is effective the first of the month following your dues payment
$45 for an individual membership
$90 for a family membership (all family members age 14 and older living in the same household).
There is a $3.00 application fee for new members.
You can also bring the membership application to a Grange meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. and join us for our potluck. OR come to one of our events like Fill Your Pantry or Plant Share.

Support our local farmers and food producers and stock up for the winter. 30 vendors, food storage demos, live bluegrass music, kids activities, and yummy soup and sweets—come out and join us for this annual event and celebrate our community’s harvest bounty.
Have extra plants that need a home? Need to divide your perennials? Is your garden looking sparse and you want some lushness? Come out to the Rockford Grange and share the abundance. All are welcome! Plants and seeds are available to swap or for a small donation. Plants include veggie starts, flowers, herbs, perennials, and fruit.
